Covid Stage Map
Our Covid Task Force helped create the following guidelines towards reopening. We hope they help you know what to expect over the coming months. As with everything Covid-19 related, these plans are subject to change as new information is available.
Stage Map for All
HIGH
Worship in the sanctuary, spaced out, with masks and limited choir. The choir may sing with masks in the chancel area 6 ft apart. Sunday School classes and small groups may meet indoors with 12 people or fewer, masks required at all times. The choir can rehearse indoors, spaced 6 ft apart and masked. Masks are required at all times for worship, Sunday School, and any meetings. Zoom or outside preferred for meetings/gatherings.
MEDIUM
Worship in the sanctuary with masks. Choir may sing masked. For Sunday School, small groups, and administrative meetings, masks are still strongly encouraged. Masks are still required while moving about the building. Caution should be exercised when providing meals.
LOW
All gatherings and in-person worship services are allowed. Choir may sing and rehearse without masks. Masks are optional for Sunday School, meetings, and gatherings. Larger meals (like Lunch & Learn) may be served
Stage Map for Children and Youth
HIGH
All children and youth activities are outdoors with masks (or on Zoom), with the exception of Sunday worship which will meet in-person, indoors, physically distanced and masked. Childcare will not be offered at the High Stage. No overnight activities.
MEDIUM
Activities will resume inside with masks but encourage activities outdoors. Any activity that requires eating will be moved outside. Masks will be required by childcare staff, teachers, and students ages 2 and up for Sunday School, childcare and all other Children’s Ministry events. Childcare staff will have to show proof of vaccination. All toys and materials will be disinfected each week. Feast will be “to go” for Sunday School. No food will be offered during childcare. Overnight activities like mission trip, retreat, lock-ins will require a negative COVID test before attending.
LOW
All activities will be indoors. Masks will be optional for all. Feast will resume. Snack will be offered during childcare. Overnight activities are allowed.
