Sunday Morning Worship
In-person Service 11 am
Online Service @ 11 am
UUMC has been sharing the unconditional love of God and justice in action in the heart of Austin and throughout the world since 1887. UUMC is affiliated with Reconciling Ministries Network, affirming the call of the gospel of Jesus Christ to be in ministry with all people of all races, gender identities, sexualities, ages, immigration status, and physical conditions. At the beginning of every worship service we say these words: No matter who you are and no matter where you are on your faith journey or life journey, you are welcome here!
In-person Service
Services at 11 am in our sanctuary
Our in-person service is a traditional service with sanctuary filling organ music. While references to God in traditional prayers and hymns may sometimes be gender-specific. As we pray and sing together, you are invited to substitute terms that reflect your understanding of the full inclusiveness of the spirit of God. You are also invited to sing hymns in your native tongue.
* We’d love for you to register your attendance in the registration booklets at the end of every pew so that we can follow up and welcome you. If you would like to request prayer, please share your concern on the space available at the end of the registration page. Our clergy team is available to you and their contact information can be found here.
* We welcome children to remain with their families during worship. We all benefit from an intergenerational setting and we believe God put the wiggle and giggle in children. For those more comfortable with having their children in childcare, it is available from 9am-12:15pm. Children of all ages are invited to join Jillian after the children’s sermon at the 11AM Sanctuary service.
* Sunday school is drop-in friendly. You can learn more about the different classes for children, youth and adults here.

Also, an area of the church parking lot adjacent to Heinsohn Hall is reserved at all times for use by persons of limited mobility. An elevator serving all four floors of our Heinsohn Hall educational building is located to the right of the entrance from the parking lot.
Childcare
University UMC wants Sunday mornings to be the best part of every child’s week. Our excellent team of caregivers provides a safe, warm and loving environment for babies through toddlers during our worship services and Sunday morning classes. We make every effort to promote positive feelings about church and being part of God’s family—not just for children in our care, but also for parents. Parents are required to sign their children into and out of the nursery to ensure security. Have a question we didn't answer?
