Happy December! ‘Tis the season of caroling, Advent festivities and lots of opportunities to be among friends at UUMC. Check below for details on Advent Festival, Christmas Pageant and Christmas Eve service!

Upcoming Events

Children and Youth Caroling

12/3 @ 12pm-3pm

All are welcome!! Join Alicia and Jillian for carolling after the service! We'll visit a few of the wonderful retirement homes in our community after a lunch provided by us. Kiddos are welcome to wear festive outfits but no rehearsal is required. We're just going to spread some cheer.

Parents are welcome to help us drive kiddos or stay at the church to complete some workday tasks. Pickup at the church at 3 pm.

Christmas Pageant

12/17 @ 10:45am-12pm

This is an exciting day in the life of the church and one of our busiest Family Sundays yet!

We will celebrate the Advent season with our Children's Christmas Pageant! All children (ages 2 and up) are encouraged to come to Sunday School that day to put on their pageant costume. The pageant takes place at the beginning of the 11 am worship service. Following the pageant, volunteers will escort all kiddos back to the classrooms to take off their costumes and do some Christmas activities during the service. When the service is over, parents can pick up their kids in the education building and head to the Advent Festival! Check below which part your child will be:

2 & 3 year olds - Sheep

Pre K - Cows

Kinder & 1st - Donkeys

2nd Grade - Doves

3rd Grade - Camels & Shepherds

4th & 5th - Mary, Joseph, Angels & Magi

Advent Festival

12/17 @ 12pm-2:30pm

Join us for crafts, a chili cook-off and cozy drinks with your church family! Everyone is welcome :) Meet in the Fellowship Hall following the Christmas Pageant.

Family-friendly Service

12/24 @ 3:30pm-4:30pm

Join other UUMC families for an interactive re-telling of the Christmas Story! Kiddos will get the opportunity to help tell the good news that Jesus is born.
