| Reproductive Justice & FaithFebruary 4 or 11 | 9:45 - 10:45 amPastor Teresa and Earl invite you to join this joint Sunday school session about reproductive justice. There will be two offerings of the same session during the Sunday school hour, so you can choose whichever fits your schedule. In the session, Pastors will briefly share pastoral experiences and theological issues, and a time of conversation will follow. You are welcome to come with open and honest hearts to discuss the topic, learn more about helpful resources, and have a chance to think about the meaning of becoming a Reproductive Freedom Congregation. | |

| Worship | Sunday @ 11 am Online or In-Person
We are thrilled to welcome guest preacher Diana Butler Bass to our sanctuary service. The sermon text is Mark 1:21-28 and her sermon title is "What is This?" Expecting to be Amazed. The Sanctuary Choir will sing Cyril V. Taylor’s “God is Here” arranged by Austin C. Lovelace. At the online service we will hear the same sermon text and share a few readings. Dr. Bass’ sermon will be available along with the recorded in person service on our youtube channel by Tuesday. | “This year, I’m wondering: What it would be like to expect epiphanies? Not just in stars, but in the more normal course of things. What if we “attuned” ourselves to “sacred surprise”? ― Diana Butler Bass, from “The Cottage” January 4, 2024
“Instructions for living a life. Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” ― Mary Oliver |
