Dear Parents, How is it already October?! I’m thinking about you all and your wonderful kiddos as we’re in the midst of this busy season. I hope you are finding time for rest, reflection and fun! Stay with me while I highlight a few things and then check below for all the events, info, dates, and times. We have another Family Sunday coming up on October 15th- this is a wonderful opportunity for you all to connect and enjoy all the amazing people at UUMC. This is also a great time to invite friends if you’re interested! We also have a wonderful opportunity coming up in November as UUMC will be hosting a Godly Play Training. If you are interested in attending any of these, they are scheduled for November 4th, 11th, and 18th. Please reach out to me if you have any interest or questions! Drop your kiddos off at the church with Jillian and childcare folks for fun, games, and pizza. See you there! Click Here to Register Family Sunday 10/15 @ 9:45am-12pm Come see your awesome UUMC community every third Sunday of the month for Family Sunday. We have a wonderful service planned led by YOU- kids, youth, and adults! Modern Family continues 10 am in room 301. Children’s Sunday School will continue as usual on the first floor. Look out for special breakfast treats :) Tween Walking Tour 10/15 @ 12-2pm Master Storyteller, Javier Wallace of Black Austin Tours is taking our tweens and youth on a historical walking tour of East Austin. Join us to learn more about the beginnings of Austin's Black community through the present. This will be an amazing and insightful experience for tweens and youth, please let Jillian know if you are coming! Learn More Fall Festival 10/29 @ 12-3 pm Join us for our annual Fall Festival in the Courtyard and Fellowship Hall! We have fun planned for everyone. There will be games, Photo Booth, bounce house, and all kinds of yummy food! Wear your costume to church and then head to the Fellowship Hall for Stewardship lunch from T Locs.
