 | Worship | Sunday @ 11 am
Online or In-PersonJoin us for worship! We will celebrate Vacation Church Camp and our children and VCC leaders will share in special music and the message. We are also pleased to welcome Missionary Christian Schlick from The Global Board of Ministries of The UMC.
Missionary Schlick is from Chile and his work is based in Central America. Cristian’s understanding of mission allows him to combine his experience and training in law with his church work, which includes commitment to community welfare and justice issues. Learn more about Missionary Schlick.
Throughout the month of June, worship will include a brief “Moment in Methodism” lesson and this week’s focus is on the Wesleyan concept of “Personal and Social Holiness.” We are also collecting your favorite hymns as we look to a hymn sing on July 7th in worship. You can write down a favorite hymn or two on the space provided in the registration pads. |

 | Fact #1Did you know that UUMC’s largest financial contributor isn’t a person but a place? The parking lot on the west side of Guadalupe is owned by the church and operated by Platinum Parking. This arrangement brought in $289,000 for the church last year, and the ATM on that property generated another $36,000. Together, this income stream accounts for almost one-quarter of our annual church income. Blessed be the parking lot! |

Annual ConferenceAnnual Conference for The Río Texas Conference takes place this week in Corpus Christi. Lay delegates from UUMC include Carolyn Downing, Andy Kever, Stephanie Molnar, David Mossman, Cindy Reeves, Jeremy Selvidge and Sandy White, who is serving as a Capital District delegate.
