 | Vacation Church CampJune 3 - 7 Each day in the fictional town of Wesley Falls, we will cover how we bring our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness to our community. And if we have big questions about why we do that, it’s because we can! We get to bring all of ourselves to the table and we will celebrate what a joy that is.  | Queer Fellowship BrunchJune 1 | 11 am | Fellowship HallJoin the UUMC Queer Council for an intergenerational queer fellowship event to kick-off pride month. All LGBTQIA+ members and friends of UUMC are invited to this community building event to get to know each other, share our joys and hopes for our church, and eat waffles! All ages are welcome, and there will be coffee and muffins in the library for any ally parents/guardians to hang out with one another and share in their own fellowship time! |

 | Worship | Sunday @ 11 am
Online or In-PersonJoin us for worship! This communion Sunday, Pastor Teresa preaches and shares about her call to ministry. The Gospel Lesson comes from Mark 2 and focuses on themes of The Sabbath.
The work of General Conference has concluded, and this month, it is time for the Río Texas Annual Conference. Throughout June, worship will include a brief “Moment in Methodism” lesson and this week’s focus is on John Wesley and the beginning of the Methodist Church. It’s also the beginning of PRIDE month! AV will lead us in singing some affirming and inclusive music in June.
We are also collecting your favorite hymns as we look to a hymn sing on July 7th during worship. You can write down a favorite hymn or two on the space provided in the registration pads. |

We will continue to record the sanctuary service and share it on our YouTube channel each week. Microloan MinistryOur Microloan team works to help small businesses in our area by offering no-interest microloans of up to $1,500. Since the program began in 2017, they have made 32 interest-free loans totaling more than $34,000 with only three defaults.
While everyone is welcome to join, they’re particularly in need of Spanish-speaking Volunteers to help conduct interviews with applicants. Interviews usually last 45 minutes to an hour and are held in coffee shops at times and places convenient to the volunteers and applicants.
