| Service of WorshipSunday | 11 am
It’s another Family Sunday and we have an exciting service planned for Sunday morning filled with the voices of several children and youth leading us. This is the Sunday when we will recognize our 2nd graders and present them a Bible, a meaningful tradition in many United Methodist congregations. Pastor Teresa’s sermon “A Life of Service concludes our sermon series on “Numbering Our Days” based on Psalm 90 which reads, “Teach us, O Beloved, to number our days that we might have a heart of wisdom.” We also conclude our Commitment to Service emphasis. The Sanctuary Choir will sing Mark Miller’s “God Has Work for Us To Do” and all will be invited to return Commitment to Service cards. We are grateful for the many volunteers who give of their time in various areas in the life of the church! |

UUMC VotesOur country is in the midst of election season, and as Methodist, we understand “our involvement in political systems is rooted in the Gospel imperative to love our neighbors, to do justice, and to care for the vulnerable”. Our UUMC Votes Ministry will be actively registering students in September and October, but we would love to see 100% voter participation in 2024 within our congregation as well. If you need help registering to vote or coming up with a plan to vote, Barbara Mason, a member of UUMC Votes, and active VDR, will be in the courtyard on September 22. She can register you to vote and help you come up with your plan to get out and vote! |
