Church leaders and staff are committed to ensuring our youth programming continues including Sunday School and Methodist Youth Fellowship. For the next few Sundays, Intergenerational Sunday School continues in the chapel. Back to School Sunday is set for August 13 when youth Sunday School at 9:45 in the youth room returns. Megan Otto and I are planning right now for Fall Sunday School so stay posted for more information coming soon!
Mission Trip Blessing

Alicia, Pastor Teresa and Paul Harper will be joining our three youth Magnolia, Eliza and Clare for this year's Beyond Mission mission trip to Fort Worth. Please be in prayer for this team! There will be a blessing for them in worship this Sunday before they head out.
Shareholder’s Dinner
August 4 - 6 pm
The annual Shareholders Dinner is scheduled for Friday, August 4th at 6pm. This is a special tradition where youth show up to prepare and serve a meal to church members who have supported the youth programs, especially the summer retreat and mission trip. ALL youth are encouraged to be present and assist with serving dinner. We are fortunate to have our own fabulous cook, Megan Otto, who is taking the lead on food preparation. Please plan on arriving between 5 and 5:30pm to help set up. We'll decorate the fellowship hall and make our game plan for receiving and serving members when they arrive. We'll need some youth and youth parents to also stay after the event to help clean up. Contact Teresa at pastorteresa@uumc.org for more info.
Talent Show - UUMC’s Got Talent
August 6 - 12 pm
Our Director of Music Ministries Alicia Villareal is coordinating our 2nd Annual Talent Show after worship on Sunday, August 6. I've already heard some of our youth will be participating and this is a great time to support one another and hang out with our church family. Email Alicia at alicia@uumc.org or find them after worship to sign-up. There will also be a potluck luncheon during the talent show so you can bring a dish to share!
Pride Parade

This year, UUMC has purchased a spot in the parade and now it’s time for you to help us represent. So join us in supporting our queer community!
