BACK TO UUMC

My friends, What a joy it is to be writing to you again! I hope that your summers have been full of activities, rejuvenation, family time and maybe even some quiet time ;) I cannot wait to hear all about them. At the church, we have been busy with Vacation Church Camp, a youth mission trip, Level Up Camp and more. Most recently, though, we have been getting ready to see you all at our UUMC Sunday Social on August 18th. The morning will include a parent meeting in the Chapel 9:45am-10:15am while kiddos settle in their classrooms. Parents will then join all of the Sunday School classes for tacos in the Courtyard. We will bless the backpacks in service, so please bring those and make space for a new backpack tag. Finally, we’ll end our morning in the Fellowship Hall with a pie competition at the Ministry Fair. There will be a lot going on but make sure to grab a calendar at the parent meeting for ALL children and youth events going on this year and get those dates saved! It is a joy and a privilege to be in this position and I am endlessly grateful for all of you that have supported me and this program. It’s going to be a wonderful year. See you soon! We will go over our plans for the year for every age group and then gather in the courtyard for tacos and community. MYF + Tween Time 8/31 @ 5-8pm Meet at the church! Bring $12 for Cabo Bobs dinner. Then, we’ll head to Urban Air for trampoline fun! PNO 9/7  @ 5-8:30pm Parents! Drop your kiddos off at the church with Jillian and childcare folks for fun, games, and pizza. Have the night to yourself or join other parents for your own fun and fellowship! RSVP HERE Children’s Sunday 9/15  @ 9:45-12pm Join us on the September Family Sunday led by our kiddos. The 2nd graders will receive their bibles, and we will celebrate our incredible kids.
