Hi friends,

Happy Spooky Season! Check out the events below and be sure to sign up for PNO!

Here a few things for you and your families to think about. Wesley Choir rehearsals are coming up on Sundays 9/29- 10/13 12pm-12:30pm right after church in the choir room with a performance on 10/20 during the church service. Please contact AV at alicia@uumc.org with any questions.

Sunday School classes are off to a great start this Fall–we have the most incredible teachers and I am endlessly thankful for their great work. As you make plans for you Sunday School hour, please consider picking up your kiddos before 9:50 to ensure our teachers and I can make it to church in time ;)

Finally, one of our fellow Methodist churches, St. John’s UMC is hosting an incredible event on November 17th 1pm-3pm. Traci Smith, author of Faithful Families will be presenting on her book Faithful Families for Advent and Christmas. Childcare will be provided on site by St. Johns. Here is the link to RSVP. Join Jillian and friends for a night of crafts, STEM, games, pizza and a movie. Parents are welcome to get together at Chad Jones’s house for a parent hangout. BYOB. Contact me for the address! This month’s theme is, of course, Halloween. Sign up now!

Fall Festival

10/20 @ 12:00-2:30pm

Join us for our annual Fall Festival! We have fun planned for everyone. There will be games, photo booth, and all kinds of yummy food! Wear your costume to church and then head to the Fellowship Hall for Stewardship lunch.

Tween Time

10/3 @ 1pm-4pm

Join us for a day of learning and fun. We will have a representative from Austin Water teach us about the future of water use in Texas. Then we will head to Deep Eddy (NOT Barton Springs) for swimming and fun. Meet and pickup at the church!
