This is a second offering of the same session from last Sunday. In the session, Pastors will briefly share pastoral experiences and theological issues, and a time of conversation will follow. | Worship | Sunday @ 11 am Online or In-PersonJoin us for worship Sunday, February 11 as we welcome guest preacher Dr. Marlon Johnson and remember our church’s vote to affiliate with Reconciling Ministries Network. Dr. Johnson is Associate Professor of Counselor Education at Seminary of the Southwest. We encourage you to wear your rainbow stole or anything with rainbow colors for our RMN service this Sunday.
RMN is committed to intersectional justice across and beyond the United Methodist connection, working for the full participation of all LGBTQ+ people throughout the life and leadership of the Church. University’s vote to affiliate with RMN took place in February 2011 with over 90% of the congregation voting in favor of affiliating with RMN. Dr. Johnson will be preaching at both our sanctuary service and online service. | “Hope will never be silent.” ― Harvey Milk |
