 | Pipe Down: A State of the Organ AddressMarch 30 | 9:45 am | Fellowship Hall Join us for a fifth Sunday joint Sunday School opportunity. Our music director, AV, and organist, EunJoo, with Bill Bingham, will tell us about the status of our pipe organ, the repair options, and the process. For all of us who love and enjoy organ music in our worship services, this will be a good time to have an open conversation about how we can better care for and appreciate our beloved instrument. |

 | Church WorkdayPlease Note: Corrected DateApril 6 | 12 pm Wear your work clothes to church, because right after we’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall following worship for a light lunch and to hear more about the various work areas. We’re still finalizing the full list of tasks, but we know we’ll be working on some landscaping on Guadalupe and straightening up the sanctuary. There will be indoor and outdoor projects for persons of all ages and capabilities to participate. Our last workday was a great success and we appreciate all who are able to join us. |

Service of Worship Sunday @ 11 amScripture: Luke 10:38-42
Join us for worship as we continue our sermon series “Everything [in] Between.” This Sunday is the 3rd Sunday in Lent and the scripture lesson is Luke 10:38-42 when Jesus visits Mary and Martha. In her sermon, Pastor Teresa will focus on the importance of both faith and works. |

“The most important word in our Center’s name is not Action nor is it Contemplation, but the word and. We need both action and contemplation to have a whole spiritual journey. It doesn’t matter which comes first; action may lead you to contemplation and contemplation may lead you to action. But finally, they need and feed each other.” – Father Richard Rohr, founder of The Center for Action and Contemplation |

 | Movie Screening: Zurawski v TexasMarch 23 | 12:30 - 3 pm FUMC Austin’s Mercy and Justice team invites you to a screening of Zurawski v Texas. This powerful documentary reveals the dire impact of losing access to healthcare. While battling in court against the state, a group of women band together as they wrestle to regain their reproductive futures and set a precedent for millions of other women and families. The extent of their traumatic experiences is revealed and may challenge assumptions, and be challenging to watch.
Following the documentary, we will spend a short time in reflection and offer opportunities to take a next step in advocacy. Please contact Pastor Cathy Stone at cathy@fumcaustin.org with questions and click here to register. |
